Designed specifically for imaging applications, Andover's Image Quality filters utilize high-quality, precision polished substrates to prevent image degradation. Additionally, all filter coatings are deposited on a single surface to eliminate fringing and ghost images. Hard oxide antireflective coatings are applied to any remaining uncoated surfaces.
The transmitted wavefront figure is measured using Andover's custom-designed tunable interferometer. Unlike traditional laser interferometers that only operate at a fixed wavelength, our tunable system allows us to measure the transmitted wavefront right at the center wavelength of the filter.
